2021-22 Event Calendar:

  • Sept. 10th: 6th Grade Social (open to the entire 6th grade-fundraiser)
  • Oct. 4-14: DMI Fundraiser
  • Oct. 29th: Halloween Dance (7th & 8th Grade only)
  • Nov. 13th: Ruskin Veterans' Day Parade (middle school and high school bands; NOT BEGINNING BAND)
  • Dec. 3rd: Plant City Christmas Parade (middle and high school bands; NOT BEGINNING BAND)
  • Dec. 9th Winter Concert @ 7 p.m.
  • Jan. 10-22: Butter Braid Fundraiser
  • Feb. 18th: BCA Idol vocal competition (open to the entire school)
  • Feb. 23rd: Orchestra Trip to Clear Water (Ruth Eckerd Hall)
  • Feb. 26th: Disney Trip to Hollywood Studios (students will attend a workshop)
  • Apr. 22nd: Spring Concert 

NOTE: Musical events/programs/field trips provide an opportunity to achieve your required 10-Volunteer Hours.

2021-2022 Information:

BCA Music Boosters and fundraisers help support the Music Department's activities, operations, and equipment that impacts your child musical journey throughout the school year.  Your family's contribution of a selected membership level will truly be appreciated by the current and future BCA students, faculty, and staff.

Membership Levels (per family):

$25 General

  • Student name on concert/event programs

$50 Bronze

  • Student name on concert/event programs
  • 1 Dry-fit Music shirt or 1 reserved concert seat
  • Opportunity to pre-purchase more concert/event reserved seats

$75 Silver

  • Student name on concert/event programs
  • 2 Dry-fit Music shirts or 2 add'l reserved concert seats
  • 2 Reserved concert seats
  • Opportunity to pre-purchase more concert/event reserved seats

$100 Gold

  • Student name on concert/event programs
  • 2 Dry-fit Music shirts or 2 add'l reserved concert seats
  • 4 Reserved concert seats
  • Opportunity to pre-purchase more concert/event reserved seats

  • Music Dry-fit shirts are required for all school events/field trips. Available through MySchoolBuck.com

Band/Chorus

  • Shoe: Black dress shoes (no sandals)
  • Dress MS & HS or limited recycled sizes available to buy from the Music Dept.
  • MS Tuxedo - pleated pants, white winged collar shirt, turquoise bow tie & cummerbund
  • HS Tuxedo - pleated pants, black shirt and turquoise tie

HS Show Choir

  • Dress: 1x rental fee of $60 If paid in a prior year not due again, unless another child/sibling is joining - MySchoolBucks.com
  • Shoes: Ladies  Men

Marching Band
