Welcome back Panthers!

Please join us in giving a warm Panther welcome to Mr. Rusticus, our new Assistant Principal! We are excited to have him join our school community and look forward to the leadership, experience, and enthusiasm he brings to our campus. Read his message below to learn a little more about Mr. Rusticus and get to know the newest member of our Panther family!

HI! My name is Scott Rusticus and I am the new Assistant Principal of Student Services at Bell Creek Academy. I am incredibly excited to be a part of Panther Nation! My wife and I recently moved to Florida from Michigan, where she and I were both in education. My wife and I are in the same positions here in Florida as we were in Michigan, with her being a Spanish Immersion preschool teacher. We have three adult children and 2 grandsons. We are huge Michigan State University fans (GO GREEN!), love to travel both domestically and internationally (my wife is from Venezuela), we have two chihuahuas, and are big sports fans. We feel very blessed to be here and are excited to start this next chapter and adventure in our lives.
Go Panthers!
Mr. Rusticus

Senior Parent Night

Another round of amazing Senior Parent Nights in the books for our graduating class of 2027. Thank you, Ms. Eskridge, for all the guidance and support you give to our students.

After School Special: Club Edition

Now Playing: Mock Trial

A word From Coach Leadingham-

I always stress to our teams that mock trial is not a “club”, we are a team that competes just as ferociously and competitively as the Bell Creek basketball and football teams. We have been practicing every day after school until 5:30 since the first week of school; and most mornings before school we have 3-5 students come in 7:30-8:20 and work on their individual roles. I’ve said for years that our teams are not the best in Hillsborough County because we are the most talented or the best coached; it’s because we work the hardest. Our teams practice more often and longer than any other team in Florida, that’s why they’re successful.

Upcoming events-

The team is composed of 20 team members, broken down into two teams. The Team is preparing for a competition this weekend (September 19-20) hosted by the law school at Florida State University called Sunshine State Showdown. We are competing against some of the best schools in the state. Twenty-four (24) total teams will be at FSU over the two-day competition.

Exciting things are happening at Bell Creek!

Construction on our new patio shade project begins next week! This project was brought forward by our High School Class Delegates, who worked hard to turn their idea into a reality for our campus.

A huge thank you to SGA for funding this project and to our Class Delegates for their leadership, dedication, and commitment to making Bell Creek even better for our students. We can’t wait to see it come to life!
