Academies
The Bell Creek Academies provide students with focused studies in the area of Law, Marine & Environmental Science, and Business & Finance. Students will have the opportunity to do executive internships, dual enroll and participate in associated extracurricular activities.
ACADEMY OF LEGAL STUDIES
This Academy will provide students with career and college opportunities in the field of law. College-bound students will find numerous higher education opportunities in law, including public administration, political studies, and law school. Students will have the opportunity to intern in law offices and government agencies. Students can learn about criminal and civil law, courtroom procedures and also participate on the mock trial team.
Extracurricular Activities include Mock Trial Club, Moot Court, and the Florida Law Honor Society.
ACADEMY OF MARINE & ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE
Students who enroll in the Academy of Marine and Environmental Science will gain first-hand experience by working with environmental professionals, while participating in hands-on labs, outdoor research and field experiences. Students participate in a rigorous program of study that includes dual enrollment opportunities and honors credit. Students in the academy are required to participate in the Environmental Club.
Extracurricular Activities include Tampa Bay Grasses and the Environmental Club.
ACADEMY OF BUSINESS & FINANCE
The Academy of Business and Finance is an academic and executive internship program for high school students exploring career opportunities within the business management, finance, and accounting industries. Completion of this program contributes necessary skills in the areas of marketing, business, and accounting applications, to prepare students for further education and careers in Business, Marketing, Finance and Accounting.
Extracurricular activity includes DECA & Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).
